Arena
See the arena before you step into it
A blacked-out hall of 500 m², two team bases, a tower in the middle and dozens of covers. Spin the model, walk through the zones and arrive prepared - knowing where the walls are is an edge from the very first game.
The model is illustrative: the hall dimensions and the layout principle are right, the individual obstacles in the arena may differ. One floor square = 2.5 metres.
The arena in numbers
What is inside
Two bases
Blue and red, each at its own end of the hall and exactly the same distance from the centre. In base modes this is where you start and where you reload.
Covers, walls and crates
Low crates to crouch behind, tall walls to run past, barrels for a quick hide. Both halves have the same layout - rotated by 180 degrees, so neither team gets the better cover.
The central tower
The highest point of the arena and the most watched spot in the game. Whoever holds it sees both halves - and is seen too.
Ramps and gaps
Ramps and narrow gaps between the walls. The fast way across, but for a few seconds you are wide open.
The entrance corridor
This is the way in from the vesting room. Neutral ground - the game starts inside.
Fog and UV light
Fog turns the beams into visible lines and UV light makes the colours glow. It also hides movement - in the fog you can get closer than your opponent expects.
Tactics
Five tips that work in your very first game
Do not stand still
A static player is a target. Move one cover further after every shot - once you are hit you get a few seconds of immunity, which is the perfect moment to relocate.
Aim at the vest, not at the player
The sensors sit on the shoulders, the chest and the back. The best shot is at someone turning their back on you towards their base.
Stay low
Most players shoot at chest height. Crouched behind a low crate they miss you, while you get a clean view of their legs and vest.
Flank along the wall
The tower rules the middle and everyone aims there. Going along the wall is slower, but it is the only way to get behind your opponents.
Talk to each other
Two players calling out positions beat five running around on their own. The vest announces hits out loud - listen for where they come from.
The best view is from the inside
The model looks good, but it cannot play you the fog, the music or the voice of the vest. Book a slot and try it for real.
